This event was not normally on the calendar but was added following the cancellation of many races due to the global pandemic.
The last time the Formula Grand Prix was held in Portugal was in 1996! It took place on the Estoril circuit.
The International Autodrome of Portimão is unique and intends to become a must for Formula 1 Grand Prix.
At the beginning, there were rumours about a closed eight race, finally, the Portuguese government decided to limit access to 27,500 spectators per day, instead of the 90,000 people that the circuit can accommodate.
All measures have been taken to implement barrier gestures, spectators will have to keep one seat apart from each other and there will be no movement between sectors and pits.

How to get there?
